I was a cosmetologist for a short amount of time in my early to mid twenties. I was better at color than cuts, but I never really understood that there was a technique to the money piece. I would back to back thin slice the front triangle and then alternate leaving out hair in between. This looks so much better. I recently colored my hair a light copper and wanted a natural looking money piece.
