I feel like half of this is looking at a dudes face.
Too many shots of just his face. Should show more context, like a wider FOV showing what he's doing with his hands, and then panning between his face and his controls as he concentrates on them.

Im not the first to ask nor is there a need for an answer but if there’s a magic/spacetime issue where we’re our own grandfather here, I guess my main question is if you don’t have a visual on the target from that close a range what are the optics on your cruiser? A spyglass from the sailing age? Like he can see Athena clear as day, they have a sensor fix on his exact location, just… you get the idea.

High quality, but I found myself distracted by confusingly obvious flaws. Why is the pilot bobbing left and right so rhythmically? If it's supposed to be turbulence…why? In empty space, before they reach any possible turbulence? Turbulence which causes rhythmic bobbing back and forth?
Secondly, why is it possible for the pilot to clear his flight log data with the flick of a switch or two? Makes no sense to me.
