This hat is for 8 or 9 year old?
Idk what did I understand wrong but mine went like 10, 20, 40…. If I don't increase in the next round, just do one in each stitch and make it 40 again, would that be alright??

my crochet hack that i offer is for magic circles just make a single chain and work into that first single chain as the magic circle. give yourself a longer tail and i weave it thru before i tighten it so it tightens easier and with a more closed circle . another one thats more feral i find to be easier is just a loose strand of yarn tied into a basic box knot but not fully pulled and crochet on the round part of the knot, pull the tails to close the knot and tie off the strands. cut and hide them under the stitches you worked onto it and your all good.

What should i do to make the last part more curvy? I'm using 3mm hook and my yarn is thinner than hers. I did 10+1 for the top of the hat but making 11+1… doesn't look curvy as much as i want it to be.
