  1. How do you know if your buttercream is too cold or too warm before piping? How do you deal with your hands melting the buttercream while holding the tubes?

  2. Here’s a tip for practicing First practice on a metal cake baking pan. That way you can scrap off and try try again with the same frosting. After you are practiced they scrape the frosting off the pan and place your piping and flowers on the cake.

    For just practice. Mix up Crisco and cornstarch instead of expensive powdered sugar and butter. A lot of the commercial frosting mixes bakeries use is crisco no butter and added cornstarch
