Same happened with me
We were frd till 3rd standard very innocent friendship but unfortunately our caste was different so her grandmother told her that Don't talk with her coz her in their caste they discriminate our caste ( I agree to her grandmother no grandma wants tk her child face discrimination at that age ) after that she ignored me and I asked her why you are avoiding me she told me after lots of my tria l as she was disappointed she told me and first time I realise wt is hurt mean
Then I tried to convince her but she was not ready as we believe our family in childhood more than anyone else
Because even I had typical parents they never told me that you shouldn't have friends of that caste
