My index finger barre mutes the sound for the second chord of the intro, any reason why?

For anyone saying this is a hard song to play, it totally is. What will help you 1000x is learning to incorporate your pinky more when you play. In my opinion, use and dexterity of the pinky will make any player 10x better

I found a technique for me,put a capo on second fret,put ur index beside tye capo which is on the third fret and 5th string
Then when you finger play it,ur thumb plucks the first string,then u pluck with ur index, starting to fifth string.
Capo: 2nd fret. () Means it's the second fret,no need to press.

Easy finger picking but not easy chords :c
I started learning guitar from you in 2021 during a Covid Lockdown. Afterwards I got proper lessons. I than went on to learn piano and can play interstellar start to finish. It was on this channel i discovered my love of music and can play almost anything just by listening (does take time tho). Im 17 now, able to watch your videos once and play the whole thing. I love music so much and its all thanks to you.
