What temperature does beeswax melt. And how to identify non pure beeswax
Thank you bunches ❤❤❤
Your creativity is endless!
Your video showed you poured essential oil to a transparent liquid, may I know what is it?
I keep running into issues where the candle completely caves in where there is a big dip in it as it shrinks. Any suggestions?
Hi Flower, I'm from Indonesia, I just watched this video in 2025, I really really like the way you share your knowledge & experiences, you're a professor 👍
Thank you so much 😊🙏
Wow, I did not know all that about wicks. So helpful. Thank you!
Howcome you don't save unused wax to include in your next pour?
This was a really great tutorial. Thanks
How long should it take the beeswax to reach a full melt pool to the rim of the glass? Great video!
I heard real bees wax will not leave black stuff as it burns
How long is "a little bit"when letting the wax cool down after melting it?
Iv watched many videos on candle making and this is informative. Thank You
1) Instead of a pot, what about using an old glass jar to melt the beeswax in? This way you can just throw it away later instead of having to clean it. 2) Also, how much essential oils did you add? 3) Instead of cleaning the container, can you just leave it as it is in the end and just use it like that when making new candles again? 4) Do you suggest a 4-pound pouring pot with a handle? 5) If you don't have a torch, you suggested putting it back in the double boiler when it starts to harden on the top, but then that would bring the temperature up again to a point that's too hot to pour it, no?
This is one of the best candle making videos I've seen. Thank you!!
Such great info – thank you!
I only have one block of beeswax to use from my late husband. Could I line a pot with tin foil so that I don’t ruin my pot?
can you add color? and at what temp?
It was informative thanks.
Thank you! This is the best tutorial! So informative, you answered all the questions I had! I love Big Dipper Wax and now, so glad to know about Bramble Berry.
I love this
If I were to use pure chamomile essential oil, how much would I use for a few small candles, 3" wide containers?
I always trim the wicks down to 1/4”. No wax house fires at my place!
When buying candles and lighting them I am very well known for cutting down the wax and sometimes adding a wick and burning the fuel down😊
Why not use the oven to melt the wax and also put “problem” candles into the oven to fix cracks or holes?
Thank you for a thorough how-to. You are an excellent teacher. I’m curious about your recipe – many of the other videos I’ve watched using beeswax, they incorporate coconut oil. Why do you not use it and what’s your opinion on using it? I’m about to make my first candles using beeswax and am feeling unsure about using coconut oil or if I can use straight beeswax. Thank you 🙏🏼
Thank you for this video
This video was super informative and well presented. Thank you so much for this resource!!🎉
So wholesome to watch!
What do you think about adding coconut oil to the Beeswax?
A heat torch is inexpensive and works well to fix holes and cracks.
Oh my goodness! I am actually burning one of your candles while stumbling across this! Thank you!! I loooove your candles! 🫶
Watched this last night on mute with subtitles on for about half of the video, and still learned a ton. Today I finally felt confident enough to take the quart bag full of beeswax shards that I collected in our previous, over air-conditioned apartment (the wax was always getting blown off to the side by the vent), and make two little mason jar candles for Advent. It was so easy and not nearly as messy as expected, and it took less than an hour!!!
If you have leftover wax in the bottom of your bowl, just put some oil in there and mix with the hot wax, let cool and wipe out it’ll turn into balm and easily wiped out
Great tutorial! However, she's interchanging the phrase "essential oils" with what she used and called a "fragrance oil." They are not the same. Fragrance oils are synthetic, while essential oils are natural, and are generally steam distilled from plants or resins. Just know that there's a difference.
Awesome video, thank you.
So which wick to use? I'm confused…
Can i add color in it. ??
The best video on candle making. Lov india❤❤❤
Thank you sooo much for making this video
As a second-year beekeeper, this is my first time working with a substantial block of new wax, and I couldn't have asked for a more helpful and inspiring guide. Your style and content are exactly what I needed—thank you so much
there is no need to put a coconut oil?
😮❤❤❤
This was very helpful! also..love your turquoise
Do you use the fragrance oils for the cold throw smell
I notice that mine don't have that sent when burning
I tried my first ever candle making few hours back, it turned out pretty amazing. Thankyou so much for the knowledge😊…
The first candle i poured had a tunnel near the wick, your troubleshooting part indeed helped me. The second candle i poured turned out amazing & it has a perfect finish…
I get a tunnel around the wick after I pour and it cures. What am I missing?
