Beautiful bag.. just a Tip for the viewers: when it comes to my corners I actually take and rotate the fabric a slight bit and make Two stitches then rotate it back straight and continue sewing down the side… I saw this method of making the perfect corner from another tutorial tried it hundreds of times and every time I got sharp corners 😊

I've made 2 of these so far and in the process of making 3 more. I'm having a hard time with the binding and the bulkiness of the bag with my sewing machine, can I pre sew the binding on the main outside piece of the bag before I clip it together to sew?

I’m making 6 of these for the women in our family going on a family trip to Hawaii…they are gonna love them!
Erica, I love this bag and have made several. But. I am still having a difficult time sewing the zipper panel and sides to the bag bottom. Your video makes it seem so effortless but I struggle with the bulk of the bag while sewing the seam, making the seam allowance uneven. I also make the binding 2” rather than 1 1/2”. I think it’s because of the difference in the written instructions and the video. Taking the 3/8 seam instead of 1/4 was a huge help.
Do we have to curve the top? If not, will there be enough of the top panel to make it around the corners?
