The japanese version lead got so much chemistry but the korean version there's barely any chemistry more like good friends. Plus J-version got more intensity then the korean one
So far, I'm actually going to go with the Korean one on this one. I think the pacing is better on the Japanese one but the storytelling is, in my opinion, much better in the Korean one. The "Show don't tell" is done much better. In the Japanese one I feel like it's trying to overexplain everything through just outright stating it, rather than allowing us to see patterns building the same way the Korean one did. They both do it, the Korean one just does it better.

Credit where it's due though, I love that the Japanese one give us time to breathe in the scenes, something that wasn't quite there in the Korean one. And the way Sumin is, I actually think is way more believable as a villain (at least in her acting). I don't love the murder scene, I think the Korean one does it WAY better. And I much prefer the Korean Min-Hwan. That being said, it's certainly not an objective matter, just my personal take, and I do enjoy the Japanese one's artistry, and I'm glad they're doing their own telling of the story rather than just rinse-and-repeating the same scenes from the Korean one. I LOVE when the FL runs around in happiness after discovering she's no longer in pain. The Korean one always seemed too calculating from the beginning, I like that in the Japanese one, one of the first things she does after panicking is realizing there's joy in life and just reveling in it for a bit.

The story had things going on in the korean version, like seo jin and min hwan getting time together to build themselves before min hwan finally cheats, it had more revenge points like that company trip, the japanese version doesn't really gets all those story points but really actors can make or break a show. Japanese drama has so much chemistry between the main characters that it's pleasing to watch. The korean version lacked charisma from the main leads side. Especially the male lead was so plaid in the korean version. I didn't like their chemistry at all. The character who played park min hwan had more charisma than the main male lead.
Also the bonding part i.e the turtle in japanese drama was played so well, I don't know if it was the aesthetics or again the characters, it setted with me so much better than the korean drunk version. Overall the japanese version won over me solely because of the cast.

Actually korean version are so many buildups but japanese version is looks mature…. Korean version I like her negative frnd and her negative partner…. Ceo sister and chef all are awesome except i hate heroine part bcz she looks beautiful in her past series…. After more plastic surgery she is not cute at all…. Japanese version I like the hero very much and the actress also looks so good with great face…. Other actors in japanese not looks perfect… But reality story wise this story only looks true to me…. In Japanese they give more scene to actor bcz korean hero is not had a more story but japanese story gives more importance for a hero of series… Especially heroine negative frnds try to attract the male lead gives hero lead more impact storytelling…..
