  7. Hi, Elle.
I just finished watching your short film and It really hit me right in the feels.

Out of the three wishes in the story, two of them deeply resonated with me which is saying goodbye to my first love in university, and wishing for my parents’ happiness. That second one has been a tough one. My parents are divorced, and now it’s just one parent left to wish happiness for, since my dad has passed away. I’m still trying my best for that.

But what truly struck me after watching it is, whenever someone asks me what I want, I always put others first. Somehow my own wishes end up at the bottom of the list.

Your short film made me realize something important, that happiness starts from within.

Of course, I still want to be there for others, but now, I also want to make space for my own wishes. Whether it’s chasing my dreams to study in Korea, buying myself flowers, or buying and reading those books I couldn’t afford as a kid. I want to start choosing me too.

Your film taught me something real, and it left a beautiful impact on me. I even teared up writing this. Thank you, Elle, for creating something so beautiful. It reminded me that my happiness matters too.

    Also, love the music. 🥹❣
