An absurd scenario!–It asks us to believe that as the human race rapidly dies out from the effects of its own excesses, and as fewer and fewer humans are present to wreck and poison the Earth, global warming and disease and toxic pollution become WORSE, instead of better, until no living things are left on the planet. And all this happening in less than a century!
It's far more likely that, as humans fade away, tougher and more resilient species will come forward and spread out and thrive, adapting to cope with the toxic atmosphere and poisoned water and the hotter world. The Earth has passed through at least FIVE mass extinctions, but life itself continued, changing and adapting. We humans need the Earth, but Earth clearly does NOT need us!
